# Event payloads

> Matched posts, monitoring changes, and test events.

## `reddit.post.matched`

A relevant public Reddit post matched your product and at least one destination accepted the alert.

```json theme={null}
{
  "event": "reddit.post.matched",
  "version": 1,
  "test": false,
  "sent_at": "2026-08-29T18:03:00.000Z",
  "post": {
    "id": "1abc234",
    "title": "How do you find relevant Reddit posts early?",
    "excerpt": "We keep arriving after the discussion is over...",
    "url": "https://www.reddit.com/r/SaaS/comments/1abc234/",
    "subreddit": "SaaS",
    "published_at": "2026-08-29T18:01:00.000Z"
  },
  "match": {
    "score": 86,
    "band": "strong",
    "reason": "The author has a current late-discovery problem."
  },
  "suggested_reply": "We make LeadFast to surface relevant Reddit posts while the conversation is still fresh.",
  "post_age_seconds": 120
}
```

| Field | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `match.score` | 0-100. Bands: `strong` (70+), `possible` (50-69), `research` (35-49). |
| `match.reason` | Why it matched, in one sentence. |
| `suggested_reply` | Short draft from the product team's point of view. Source material, never an authorization to post. |
| `post_age_seconds` | Time between publication and delivery acceptance. |

## `product.understanding.updated`

Monitoring changed because the product website changed. Emitted only after the change is effective.

```json theme={null}
{
  "event": "product.understanding.updated",
  "version": 1,
  "test": false,
  "sent_at": "2026-08-29T18:03:00.000Z",
  "previous_version": 3,
  "product_version": 4,
  "differences": ["Added analytics for agencies", "Removed legacy pricing tier"]
}
```

Persist `previous_version`, `product_version` and `differences`. No action is required.

## `webhook.test`

Sent from the app when you activate or test a destination. Same headers and signature; `test` is `true`.
